    Pa. WWII vet gets long-delayed Purple Heart

    PITTSBURGH -; A World War II veteran from Pittsburgh has at long last received a Purple Heart - 70 years after he was wounded in the Battle of Okinawa.

    Aaron Narvol was awarded the medal Tuesday on his 93rd birthday for the bullet he took to his leg while trying to save a fellow soldier.
